Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This policy explains what information PC Remote Controller (the Android app, the Windows app and this website) handles, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the apps talk only to each other on your own Wi-Fi, they contain no ads, analytics or tracking, and you never need an account.

1. Who is responsible

PC Remote Controller is made by Dimitrios Chloros, an independent developer, who is responsible for the information described here. You can reach him through the contact form.

2. The apps

The Android app and the Windows app connect directly to each other over your local Wi-Fi network. Your mouse movements, key presses and commands travel only between your phone or tablet and your PC. They are never sent to the developer or to anyone else.

The apps are downloaded from Google Play and the Microsoft Store. Those stores handle downloads, ratings and reviews under their own privacy policies.

3. This website

The website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking, and its fonts are served from the site itself. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may record visitors' IP addresses for security purposes, as described in GitHub's privacy statement.

What you send through either form is stored in a Google Sheet in the developer's own Google account, on Google's servers, which may be outside your country. Contact messages are also emailed to the developer so he can reply. Google's privacy policy covers its part.

To keep spam out, the forms are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads only once you start filling in one of the forms, and it rarely asks for anything; now and then it shows a box to tick. To tell people from bots, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and details of your browser, and only for that, as its Turnstile privacy addendum explains.

4. How long information is kept

The apps keep nothing about you beyond the settings on your own devices. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Your subscription email is kept until you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any information you have sent through the website, or unsubscribe from update emails at any time. Just use the contact form and it will be done. If you live in the European Union, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

6. Security

Because the apps work on your local network and store nothing remotely, there is no database of users that could be breached. The connection between the apps is as secure as your Wi-Fi, so use a network you trust and keep it protected with a password.

7. Children

The apps and website do not knowingly collect information from children, and the apps collect no personal information from anyone.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
